Bye bye Bologna

Here we are at the train station waiting for the train to Florence. It's been pretty cold on this trip but now that it's raining, it has warmed up.

Got up early today to explore Bologna. I won't mention Mark's snoring last night because I am too nice to do that. We will post our Bologna pictures tonight. Our goal was to walk to the top of Torre di Asinelli but when we found out there were 500 steps to the top we realized we didn't have enough time ;). The old city center of Bologna is beautiful. There is quite a bit of restoration going on right now.







Looking forward to Florence. I have my list of sights to see and places to eat ready!

    I recognize those suitcases at the train station! Thanks for posting regularly, it's so much fun to keep up with your travels. Haven't seen any evidence of that drunj episode Mark wrote about earlier but we'll stay tuned.
